Episode 14 was originally the bonus subscriber-only episode for season two subscribers, back when the series used a subscription model.
The story features Rocco, the Philadelphia mobster who is given the task of tracking, finding, and killing Sam and Rachel as retribution for the con they attempted to pull on Little Vincent.
His efforts mirror the activities of the grifters throughout season two (episodes 8-13), until he finally catches up with them, resulting in an explosive confrontation.
*Those who pay close attention will see that some of what Sam and Rachel (and the reader) may have believed happened after reading episode 13 is not actually correct. Since this episode was originally subscriber-only content, the “truth” about Porter was known to only those most loyal of readers. Of course, now you know, too.
