The Charlie-316 series is a police procedural series with elements of a political thriller, set in Spokane, Washington. The first four books each have a complete story but are also part of a four-book meta-arc that my co-author (Colin Conway) and I call the “Tyler Garrett arc.” Subsequent books are essentially standalone titles set in the same universe.
