The SpoCompon Series is a hardboiled series set in Spokane, Washington, and featuring the “other” side of the badge — the gritty, criminal underworld. In this series, the criminals are the protagonists. Most of the cops depicted are either fallen heroes or seen as “bad guys” from the perspective of the protagonists.
